eTea Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 fresh Echinacea Blossoms with several inches of soft stem
  • 1 fresh Lemon or other citrus fruit
  • 2 Tablespoons or to taste Honey
  • 1 litre or quart of filtered or spring water

Equipment:

  • Sharp knife
  • Kettle to heat water
  • China Tea pot to brew tea in
  • Sieve to filter final beverage
  • Tablespoon measure&stir honey
  • Glassjar to hold & refrigerate eTea

Directions:

Chop echinacea flowers & stems into small pieces as water is heated to boiling in the kettle.

Place chopped echinacea in sieve over China Teapot or glass measuring pitcher & steep eTea flowers & stems for 40 minutes while mixture cools down. Cut citrus fruit and squeeze juice into cooled tea, adding 2 Tablespoons (or to taste) of honey to complete this re:energizing taste treat. It also can be made with dried citrus fruit and/or dried echinacea though it may vary in steeping time for optimum taste
